Episode 1 – Gravesend
Once upon a time (1975) on a street corner in the fair town of Gravesend, a hero by the name of John built a grand shop of truth, justice, exceptional quality, legendary service and low prices. He named his fortress the Electrical Discount Centre. The people rejoiced at its opening and so did John announce a new age of customer satisfaction for all of Kent.
Understandably, there were those who were none too pleased with the opening of the center, namely The Competitors who had lived for years by sucking the pockets of the people dry of all money. John refused to submit; he took up his pricing gun on the behalf of the people and waged a valiant price war against The Competitors in the name of your money
Through great customer service and low prices, John was successful in defeating the prices and standards of The Competitors and saving your money. Other heroes emerged to carry the name of EDC on to other places.
Episode 2 – Bexleyheath
Bob and Mo, sons of John, fought The Competitors for EDC in Bexleyheath, using their special power to sell brands like Sony, LG, Samsung and Pioneer at Discount Prices. Whether it was due to EDC's friendly and helpful staff or becoming an authorised dealer for over 75 suppliers. is difficult to say, but EDC captured the hearts of all who visited its Bexleyheath branch.
Meanwhile, Phil led EDC onto a new path, by partnering with giants in the insurance industry; Phil and EDC provided the nation with an Insurance Replacement service that offered unparalleled convenience and innovative service on all Electrical Items.
In 2009 EDC launched Special Branch Unit32, operating from a warehouse at the Acorn Industrial Estate in Crayford. And achieved an annual turnover in excess of £25 million. EDC was successful in its mission to rescue Your Money from The Competitors, and upholds its ideals of Honesty and Service to this day, in defiance of The Competitors
Episode 3 – The Internet
Now, EDC Direct enters a new frontier, as it does battle with The Competitors in Cyberspace.
